More than a quarter million people now belong to Kinecta FCU, the $3.3 billion California credit union has announced.
The Manhattan Beach-based credit union said passing the 250,000 mark (251,273 members in its latest NCUA report) continues its status as the largest credit union by members in Los Angeles County.
“As we grow, Kinecta's focus remains on providing members high-quality products and services, exceptional value and rich service experience,” Kinecta President/CEO Keith Sultemeier said in the credit union's announcement.
Sultemeier took over as CEO last spring a few weeks after Kinecta and the $1.1 billion NuVision FCU called off their planned merger.
Kinecta was founded in 1940 to serve employees of Hughes Aircraft Co. and now serves more than 370 SEGs and anyone who lives, works, worships or attends schools in areas of Los Angeles and Orange counties.
