An additional firm has announced that it will provide fulfillment services for credit union housing finance programs.
The services provided will allow credit unions to focus on members services and and loan origination, while leaving underwriting, document preparation, closing and funding to the firm.
REMN Wholesale, a national firm offering this sort of financing, has launched a new division that it said will specialize in working with both credit unions and community banks.

"REMN Wholesale sees a significant opportunity in helping community banks and credit unions fulfill quality loans for their customers. These lenders have built their businesses by offering customers high levels of customer service and they need a partner they can trust to help them compete against the larger institutions. For community banks and credit unions, REMN Wholesale is proving to be the best partner imaginable," said Joe Amoroso, national director of sales for REMN.
The company said it considers its services a particularly good match for credit unions because it's not a bank and thus cannot cross sell other products to credit union members and because it can handle a wide variety of loans, including those which are backed by FHA insurance or by the Veterans Administration or the U.S Department of Agriculture.
