The $779 million Charter Oak Federal Credit Union in Groton, Conn., will open a new full-service branch in Putnam, Conn., on July 1, following up on its pending June 30 merger of the $1.7 million Quiet Corner Community Credit Union.
The new branch just off Interstate 395 will replace Quiet Corner's nearby operations in Putnam, Charter Oak said, and provide two drive-up windows and a drive-up ATM as well as full branch services inside.
The branch will be Charter Oak's 13th. Audrey Lefevre, Quiet Corner's manager/treasurer, will serve as branch supervisor and Sonya Armstrong, who is branch manager for Charter Oak's Dayville location, will also serve as branch manager in Putnam, the credit union said.
