Tehachapi Federal Credit Union and Kern Schools Federal Credit Union last week announced that they will merge.
"In today's complicated regulatory and legal environment, credit unions of all sizes look for partners who share the same member-centered philosophies, ideals and practice," said Kern Schools President/CEO Steve Renock.
"Kern Schools offers many advantages previously unavailable to Members of Tehachapi Federal Credit Union," said Tehachapi FCU President/CEO Lorri Ward. These include an express office with two full-service ATMs in Tehachapi, mortgage products and services, mobile banking and online bill pay.
