Staff at the $474 million IC Federal Credit Union in Fitchburg, Mass., had a particularly special cause in mind for their monthly Jeans for Charity effort on April 19. Nearly $400 was raised for Boston Marathon bombing victims. In the past three years, the staff has averaged $800 each time and raised nearly $30,000 for dozens of charities, including the Montachusett Interfaith Hospitality Network, Ginny’s Helping Hands, ARC of Opportunity, Animal Care in Education and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
