A retired employee of JetStream Federal Credit Union, FernandoReyes, passed away on April 19 following a long battle withcancer. After a three decade career in financial services,Reyes joined the JetStream team and served as vice president oflending for 13 years, from 1998 to 2011. Reyes possessed a passionfor his work that was only surpassed by his love for family, theMiami Lakes, Fla.-based credit union said. He was a creditunion champion who passed the torch on to his son, Jace Reyes, alifelong credit union employee who currently serves as CEO of MiamiPostal Service Credit Union. JetStream Federal President/CEO JeanneKucey said, “All of the JetStream team members and volunteers willmiss Fernando’s sense of humor, personal strength, and love forlife.
