NH Federal Credit Union, Concord, N.H., announced the appointment of three vice presidents to its senior management team. The promotions are Polly Saltmarsh to vice president of member service, Tina Cabana to vice president of lending, and Katherine McFarlandto vice president of compliance. Saltmarsh has worked for NHFCU for over 28 years, most recently as marketing manager. Her experience includes working on the front lines in the teller and member service departments, as well as the marketing department. She holds a BS in marketing from Franklin Pierce University. Cabana has been serving NHFCU for more than 24 years. Her knowledge encompasses lending, collections, mortgages and member services. She attended Hesser College and is currently completing her BS in management at Franklin Pierce University. McFarland has been with NHFCU for over 30 years. During this time she began NHFCU's member service and marketing departments and oversaw operations and compliance. She earned an associate's degree in marketing and management and a BS in management from Franklin Pierce University.

Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., announced that Robyn Williamshas joined as branch manager of the Hollowbrook branch in Wappingers Falls. In this role, Williams will oversee all day-to-day activities at the branch, as well as work with commercial accounts in the surrounding area. She reports to Sarah Gillespie, area retail manager for HVFCU. Williams joins HVFCU after more than 20 years of financial experience with local banks, including her most recent position as a vice president/branch manager for Rhinebeck Bank. She holds a bachelor's of business administration from SUNY New Paltz and earned her MBA from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh.

Webster First Federal Credit Union, Worcester, Mass., said it has named Louis W. Sroczenski, a businessman and longtime director of Webster First FCU, chairperson of the board of directors. Sroczenski has been a director of the credit union since April 5, 1973. Sroczenski succeeds Zenon Szlyk as chairperson.

Golden 1 Credit Union, Sacramento, Calif., announced that Machelle Martinhas been named vice president of human resources/training and development. Martin brings many years of high-level leadership experience in the fields of human resources and employee development. She worked at USAA for more than 20 years and more recently served as a human resources business leader at Comcast. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in communications from California State University, Sacramento, and a master's degree in business administration from Golden Gate University. Martin is also certified as a senior professional in human resources.

Security Service Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, announced the selection of Marilyn Hartmann to become commercial loan production manager. In her new position, Hartmann will contribute to the strategic planning of the commercial services department and will manage the loan production staff in the credit union's market areas across Texas, Colorado and Utah. Hartmann holds a bachelor's degree in Latin American Studies and Spanish from Central College in Pella, Iowa, and has some 29 years of experience in the financial services industry. She joined SSFCU in 2004 as a commercial loan officer and was soon promoted to senior commercial loan officer, a position she held until 2012. She went on to serve as executive vice president, director of SBA lending at TexStar National Bank and returned to SSFCU in early 2013. Separately, SSFCU announced that Thomas Martinhas been named senior vice president of planning and performance. The newly created position will oversee enterprise performance management and corporate strategic planning, as well as management of the accounting and finance departments. Martin has led a wide range of credit union operations, serving as president and chief executive officer of two federal credit unions in Arizona. He holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from the University of Idaho and a master's degree in finance from Western International University. He is a retired lieutenant commander for the U.S. Navy and served as a surface warfare officer.

MIDWEST

Centra Credit Union, Columbus, Ind., has named Bill Mahoney director of indirect lending sales. Mahoney, a graduate of Columbus North High School, studied economics at Franklin College. He has an extensive background in sales and in the automotive industry. Prior to joining Centra, Mahoney served as business manager for Country Chevrolet and for the Acra Automotive Group. He also has experience in insurance sales and accounting services.
