The $433 million, 39,3000-member Honor Credit Union offered up the use of its Berrien Springs, Mich., branch and chipped in some itself as a group of area high school students raised $2,000 by bringing in more than 180,000 pennies for a Pennies for Patients fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
"Honor is proud to support the collaborative effort of these students by counting their pennies and even donating a few of our own," said Kellie Eldridge, manager of the Berrien Springs branch for the St. Joseph, Mich.-based credit union.
