There were some signs of the times, old and new, when the $1.2 billion American Heritage FCU held a grand opening for its new branch in Perkasie, Pa. The new branch features three drive-through lanes, five teller stations, an Internet café, free coin-counting machine and outside ATM.

The land on which the new branch was built was once home to a gas station and a Chevron sign discovered during the demolition of the old building was presented to one of the owners of the 1960s station – Gerry Robison – at the grand opening.

American Heritage now has 27 branches in Philadelphia, Bucks and Montgomery counties and serves more than 119,000 members at more than 700 sponsor companies.
