The $329,000, 321-member Smith & Sons Employees Credit Unionin Macon, Ga., was merged Oct. 1 into the $2 billion,106,000-member Atlanta Postal Credit Union.
APCU held a reception for them at its Macon branch, withrefreshments and door prizes.
“Since 1936, Smith & Sons Cafeterias have been treasured bythe residents of Macon, as well as the other cities they serve. Weare pleased to include all of the employees of Smith & SonsFoods, Inc. as the latest addition to the APCU field ofmembership,” said Moira Lacey, APCU's Macon branch manager.
