The $1.1 billion Idaho Central Credit Union has launched mobile check deposit for its smartphone- and tablet-using members.
The Pocatello credit union said the remote deposit capture service uses the MShift mobile banking platform and RDC technology from Ensenta.
“Members now have the ability to deposit a check any time of day from anywhere by simply taking a photo of it with their smartphone,” said Mark Willden, chief information officer at ICCU.
The service is free to the credit union's 117,100 members and is supported by the credit union's iPhone and Android apps.
