The National Cooperative Business Association is gearing up to be "crashed."
The NCBA and The Cooperative Trust have teamed up for a Crash NCBA scholarship event during its annual meeting at the Red Lion Hotel in Seattle, Oct. 2-5.
The merit-based scholarships will be awarded to 15 participants based on the strength of their entry forms and essays.

Interested candidates under the age of 30 can visit http://ncba.trust.coop to apply for a scholarship slot before August 23rd. The NCBA has sponsored all 15 slots.
Those selected will have access to the entire conference, as well as separate breakout sessions with thought leaders in the cooperative business space.
The move is a first outside the credit union realm and expands The Cooperative Trust's focus across all cooperative businesses and organizations.
"This is a very special event for us," said Brent Dixon, founder of The Cooperative Trust. "We're reaching out to include more co-ops and, hopefully, encourage more young people to get involved and learn from one another. And, as always, we're hoping to have a lot of fun with our Crashers."
A grassroots organization originally formed some two years ago to grant young credit union professionals access to meetings such as CUNA's Governmental Affairs Conference and the World Council of Credit Unions conference, The Cooperative Trust has evolved with its members serving as change agents.
