Two credit unions, one in Wyoming and the other in Idaho, have joined shared branching through the Credit Union Service Network, an affiliate of CO-OP Shared Branching headquartered in Colorado.
The two are the Pine Tree Community Credit Union, headquartered in Grangeville, Idaho and the WESC Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Casper, Wyo.
Pine Tree Community CU CEO Dan Goehring explained that, “With the addition of shared branching, Credit Union members have the same benefits that the large multistate mega banks offer, while enjoying all the other benefits of credit union membership.”
Pine Tree Chairman Jerry Zumalt said, “The convenience of shared branching is a great benefit to our members and [they] get excited when they find out there is a shared branching location they can use to access their accounts.”
