Andrews Federal Credit Union is mourning the death of longtime board director Colonel Clifford Reese, USMC (Ret.)
A 55-year credit union member, Reese, who was described as a staunch member advocate and champion of U.S. military forces, served on the board of the Suitland, Md.-based credit union for 18 years.
He graduated from Guilford College, National War College and completed the executive acquisition program managers course from National Defense University. He served as both a noncommissioned and commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps, commanding the Helicopter and Fixed Wing Squadrons, as well as a Marine Air Group.

"We are saddened by the loss of a true credit union advocate and supporter," said Chris McDonald, president/CEO of Andrews FCU. "Mr. Reese's commitment and devotion will long be remembered by all whose lives he touched."
