The $6.7 billion Security Service Federal Credit Union of SanAntonio said Monday its foundation has approved a $10,000donation to the American Red Cross Northern Colorado Chapter tohelp assist victims of the Fort Collins wildfires, which has nowdestroyed the most homes – at least 181 – in the state'shistory.

The Security Service Charitable Foundation said its branches inFort Collins, Greeley, Longmont and Loveland are currentlycollecting donations to aid families affected by the fire.

“Several SecurityService members have reported homes being lost and otherssuffered property damage,” said President/CEO David Reynolds. “Our hearts go out to those affected and we will do everything wecan to assist in this difficult time.”

SSFCU said also it is offering short-term, low-interestemergency loans for its members affected by the disaster. SSFCU has 875,000 members and branches in Texas, Colorado, Utahand overseas.
