Six credit unions in the past 12 months have converted to theCU*Base core processing platform through CU*South, the Fairhope,Ala., CUSO said.

They are the $136 million Taunton Federal CU in Taunton, Mass.;the $27 million MUNA Federal CU in Meridian, Miss.; the $8.7million Elizabeth NJ Firemen’s FCU in Elizabeth, N.J. the $5.9million Birmingham Police CU in Birmingham, Ala.; the $8 millionSt. Joseph Broadmoor FCU in Shreveport, La.; and Glove Workers FCU,now merged into the $13.6 million First Neshoba FCU, in Philadelphia, Miss.

“With each conversion, we identified immediate benefits to themember,” said Leo Vaulin, CEO of CU*South. “In some cases, it wasmobile and text banking, or a better membership reward program. Inother cases, it was 24x7 loan approval or more self-service optionsthrough our online banking platform.”
