Three more New Jersey credit unions have now agreed to use the i-POWER core processing system from EPL Inc. of Birmingham, Ala., through a partnership with Financial Services Inc. of Glen Rock, N.J., the companies said.

They are $14 million Essex County Teachers Federal Credit Union in Bloomfield, $153 million Pinnacle Federal Credit Union in Edison and the $39 million United Poles Federal Credit Union in Perth Amboy.

FSI began offering core processing through a partnership with EPL late last year. The company said it has a client list of more than 150 institutions using its services that also include item processing, e-statements, board portals and Internet and check fraud services.

The Alabama CUSO has a client list of about 140 credit unions and began serving another FSI client, the $5.7 million Health Care of New Jersey Federal Credit Union in Mount Holly, late last year. EPL plans to soon open a data center at FSI's offices, the companies said.

According to the Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates, Health Care of New Jersey was a CompuSource customer, while Pinnacle and Essex County Teachers use Fiserv platforms and United Poles is an AMI Inc. customer.
