Organizers of a summit targeted at business owners and buddingentrepreneurs in Yolo County, Calif., are expecting a largeturnout.
|The first annual Yolo County Small Business Resource Summit willtake place June 20 at the UC Davis Conference Center.
|The event aims to bring together resources that are available toassist small business owners and entrepreneurs within Yolo County,including tips from experts on how to start or grow a business andbreakout sessions on business funding in today's economy, taxes,business development and energy solutions.
|The $196 million Yolo Federal Credit Union in Woodland, Calif., is one of thesponsors of the summit along with the University ofCalifornia-Davis, First Northern Bank, Wells Fargo Bank and PremierWest Bank among others.
|Organizers say while the summit is free, they are expectingspace to be limited. Small businesses are encouraged to register by June8.
