The $2 billion Redwood Credit Union of Santa Rosa, Calif.,sponsored and participated in the annual Apple Blossom Parade, aspringtime tradition in Sebastopol, Calif., that dates to 1947.
|Forty RCU volunteers, including employees, family and friends,participated in the parade, which carried the theme, “Old McBlossomon a Farm,” a celebration of local farmers.
|RCU opened a branch in Sebastopol last fall. Last year, RCUstaff participated in more than 480 events and contributed 3,800plus hours to local communities, the 218,000-member credit unionsaid.
