The NCUA has opened registration for its sixth “Listening Session,” in which Board Chairman Debbie Matz and other officials will discuss with credit unions ways to improve the exam process.
The Denver session will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. MDT on Tuesday, July 31 at the new Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Denver. The NCUA reported it negotiated free space for the event.
“We look forward to hearing from credit union officials and volunteers in all six Listening Sessions,” Matz said Thursday. “We welcome open dialogue to improve our exam process, regulations, and credit unions' safety and soundness.”
Participation is open to the first 150 people who register. Participants will have opportunities to dialogue with NCUA Board members, senior NCUA staff, and supervisory examiners from NCUA Region 5. Attendees will also be invited to contribute to roundtable discussions with their peers.
