The $1.3 billion Navigant Federal Credit Union in Smithfield,R.I., has decided to deploy Fiserv Inc.'s flagship Acumen accountprocessing platform, the company and credit union said.
|The 49,000-member Navigant cited the new platform'sflexible, open architecture and reliability in its decision, andwill also add several other Fiserv solutions, including wiretransfer processing, fraud detection, the ACCEL/Exchange ATM andpoint-of-sale network, accounting, imaging and member relationshipsoftware.
|”One of our strategic objectives is to effectively competewith large, regional financial institutions in our area byconstantly developing and delivering innovative financial servicesand products that benefit our members,” said NavigantPresident/CEO Gary Furtado. “With its advanced Internet technology,Acumen provides integrated access to data to improve ourdecision-making power and create superior workflows.”
|The credit union will use the platform in an ASP environment.Navigant currently runs on the Fiserv Spectrum platform.
|Fiserv said it has now contracted with more than 30 creditunions to run the Acumen core platform in the United States andCanadasince it was introduced in 2009.
