A new customer relationship management system is beingimplemented in phases at the $6.5 billion Security Service FederalCredit Union in San Antonio.

The 865,000-member credit union is using the Microsoft DynamicsCRM system with consulting and installation help from CIBER Inc. ofGreenwood Village, Colo.

The deployment will begin with automation of common memberrequests and business process redesign in the service center,followed by upgrades at member service centers and the creditunion’s 69 branches in Texas, Colorado and Utah.

The changes will simplify training, reduce errors, cut costs andimprove member service, Security Service said, as well asconsolidate functions now handled by several applications into oneuser interface.

"Working with CIBER, we will be adding technology to help ourassociates serve members more efficiently and empower members tohelp themselves through automated service options," said ToddRenaud, vice president of MIS for Security Service.

CIBER said it now has more than 8,500 employees and operates in19 countries in North America, Europe and Asia/Pacific.
