Cardtronics Inc., the owner of the Allpoint Network, a nationwide ATM network that providesfee-free ATM transactions to card holders, has signed a deal withthe Harris Teeter supermarket chain.

Charlotte,N.C.-based Harris Teeter is the 24th largestsupermarket chain in the country with 205 locations spread acrosseight states and the District of Columbia.

As part of the deal, Houston-based Cardtronics said it willinstall machines in 100 of the grocery chain's locations that willpart of the Allpoint Network. The firm also has the right to placeATMs in newly opening Harris Teeter stores.
