Lara K. Rodríguez, a counselor in the FDIC's Special Issues Unit, has been named the NCUA's deputy general counsel, the agency announced Monday.
Rodriguez, who will run the office's day-to-day operations and be the agency's chief Freedom of Information officer, succeeds Michael McKenna who recently succeeded Robert Fenner as the agency's general counsel.
Before joining the FDIC she was a partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, where she practiced structured finance law.
