Navy Federal Credit Union has just launched a new venture: A corporate partnership with the USO of Metropolitan Washington. The $46 billion credit union will help USO-Metro serve departing and arriving service members at its four airport lounges in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. area. Last year USO-Metro served 122,500 people through the centers and each year distributes 250,000 to 300,000 care packages containing such items as international calling cards, disposable cameras and toiletries to deploying service members. The partnership with Navy Federal officially launched on Aug. 29 at USO-Metro's lounge at Baltimore-Washington International Airport.
