Mid-Atlantic Corporate FCU will now be protecting memberinformation via an email encryption service from ZixCorporation.
|The Middletown, Pa., corporate will use the Dallas company'sZixGateway policy-based encryption system to scan all outboundemail and encrypt messages with sensitive information.
|“Weselected ZixCorp because it is committed to informing clientcompanies about security issues, and email encryption is a veryeffective tool in our security arsenal,” said Richard Carberry, the800-member corporate's security administrator.
|ZixCorp said it will be a sponsor of Mid-Atlantic Corporate'sIT and Security Conference to be held Aug. 16-17 in Harrisburg,Pa., and that it now provides email encryption to more than 1,200hospitals and 1,500 financial institutions, including more than 250credit unions.
