CU*Answers says 16 credit unions from nine states, including afirst from West Virginia, have signed on as users of its CU*BASEcore processing system in the past year.
|The Grand Rapids, Mich., CUSO also told attendees at its recentclient conference that it added 11 new owners and now has 94 creditunion shareholders.
|One of its regional partners, CU*NorthWest in Spokane, Wash., has 12 more owners of its ownand has 20 clients using the CU*BASE system, including five addedin California in the past year, the companies said. CU*South inMobile, Ala., serves 13 credit unions, they said.
|By the end of the business year on Sept. 30, the CUSO said,CU*Answers will be providing core processing and other services to189 credit unions in 24 states, with more than 1.4 million membersand $10 billion in assets.
|The first West Virginia client is the $25 million WV United inCharleston, the CUSO said.
