The $2 billion Northwest Federal Credit Union in Herndon, Va., has signed a multi-year agreement for online banking and bill pay solutions from Online Resources Corp. of Chantilly, Va., the company and credit union said.

The 105,000-member Northwest FCU will use the Architect retail banking solution, which includes personal financial management, small business banking, one-to-one marketing and social media integration, the company said.

The credit union will be able to administer and configure the end-user experience using a client toolbox, Online Resources said. Northwest FCU also chose a hosted bill payment solution that includes e-bills and expedited payments for same-day posting.

“Our goal is to provide our members with an exceptional banking experience at every interaction,” said Gerrianne D. Burks, president and chief executive officer for Northwest Federal Credit Union. “Through the enhancement of our online channel, we can offer our members customized, advanced online banking and bill payment capabilities.”

The conversion is expected to take place next year, the company and credit union said. Online Resources now provides online banking and bill pay services to more than 450 credit unions.
