The $182 million Old Hickory Credit Union in Old Hickory, Tenn., presented a check to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt during a June 5 telethon. The charity takes in funds from across Tennessee. The telethon is held every year in order to inform and raise money for families that have children with serious, usually life threatening, health issues. Employees and members make donations and the credit union has fundraisers throughout the year.
