NAFCU will soon have a new person responsible for making the trains run on time.
Anthony Demangone, the association's vice president of regulatory compliance, will become the group's senior vice president and chief operating officer starting May 23.
Demangone succeeds Patrick Morris, who has been named CEO of ACA International, the trade association for the credit collections industry.

Demangone has been with NAFCU since 2004 and during that time has expanded the association's activities in the regulations area, including starting its compliance blog.
Before joining NAFCU he was a lawyer in private practice and member services supervisor at Congressional FCU.
"Anthony brings a wealth of knowledge about credit unions and the serious regulatory issues they face to this new assignment," NAFCU President/CEO Fred Becker said in a statement. "With his can-do spirit, creativity and enthusiasm, I know he will lead our operations, events, education and member services areas to even greater heights.''
