Illinois Director of Financial Institutions Robert Meza has been named to the NASCUS Board of Directors by Chairman Thomas Candon of Vermont.

Meza, who has held his current post since February 2008, is an attorney who has worked in private practice and for the U.S. Department of Education and the Chicago Transit Authority. His NASCUS term will expire in September.

He succeeds former Michigan Commissioner Ken Ross, who left his position last week.
