National Grid, whichserves 3.3 million electricity customers and 3.4 million naturalgas customers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and RhodeIsland, has added the e-Bill Distribution service from FiservInc.

E-bills contain the same information as paper bills, aredelivered directly to the online banking site and are stored therefor 12 months or longer. The service allows National Grid customersto review their bill online, select payment dates and use featuressuch as e-mail due date reminders, if their financial institutionis one of more than 3,000 nationally on the Fiserv bill paynetwork.

“Delivering bills to financial institution sites is an importantcomplement to our existing billing capabilities, and helps enhancecustomer satisfaction,” said Jeff Martin, director of billing andsystems at National Grid.

“Now that National Grid has joined the Fiserv network of morethan 400 billers, they can provide added convenience to customerswho choose to view and pay their bills at their financialinstitution website,” said Jardon Bouska, president of billersolutions at Fiserv.
