There is new leadership at Blackhawk Community Credit Union.

Sherri Stumpf has been appointed president/CEO of the Janesville, Wis.-based credit union.

Bringing over 25 years of executive management and credit union experience to Blackhawk CCU, Stumpf succeeds Robert Carmichael, who left the credit union to pursue other endeavors.

Prior to joining the $322 million credit union, Stumpf most recently served as interim president/CEO of Minneapolis-based TruStone Financial. She started out at TruStone as senior vice president of human resources then was named chief operating officer.

Previously in her career, Stumpf held senior-level positions in employee relations and human resources for the Home Depot and for the Bank of Elk River.
