NORTHEAST

HarborOne Credit Union, Brockton, Mass., announced the addition of Barbara Graveline to its residential mortgage team. Graveline is responsible for the origination of loans for purchase, refinance and construction. She has more than 15 years of combined experience in mortgage banking, sales, customer service and new business development. She has been with HarborOne for two years, most recently serving as a desktop underwriting specialist.

Hudson River Community Credit Union, Glen Falls, N.Y., announced several promotions. Mark Spiak and Jennifer Gilbert were promoted to the position of head teller at the Troy and Corinth branches, respectively. Vicki Hayes was promoted to information systems support specialist. And Pamela Petteys was recently promoted to assistant vice president of deposit operations for the credit union.

People's Credit Union, Middletown, R.I., announced the appointment of Christopher J. Eden to information technology manager. In this position, Eden will oversee all aspects of the credit union's information technology management, including the development and recommendation of objectives, policies, procedures and technology-related projects and initiatives. Eden received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Rhode Island and has been with People's Credit Union since March 2003.

Vermont Federal Credit Union, Burlington, Vt., announced that Larry Forcier has joined the credit union as a mortgage originator. Larry brings with him more than twenty years of customer service experience and more than five years in the mortgage industry.

WEST

Northwest Community Credit Union, Springfield, Ore., promoted Teri Landrum to branch manager of the credit union's Eugene branch. Landrum started at Northwest Community in 1998 where she held numerous positions including teller, member service specialist and manager trainee. Landrum has a certificate in human resources and marketing. She will be responsible for the daily operational needs of the credit union.

OSU Federal Credit Union, Newport, Ore., promoted Patti Ferry from assistant branch manager to branch manager of their new Newport location. Ferry started with OSU Federal in August 1996 and moved to the credit union's initial Newport location when it opened in 2003. OSU Federal also hired Sharon Eikleberry from Umpqua Bank to be a senior loan officer in its member business services department. Eikleberry brings 37 years of local financial institution experience to the credit union.

MIDWEST

The Credit Union Executives Society, Madison, Wis., congratulated four 2010 CUES Volunteer Hall of Fame inductees at an awards ceremony at its directors conference in Phoenix on Dec. 5. This year's honorees were Patricia J. Ellis of HEW FCU, Alexandria, Va.; Joseph E. Toochin of United Nations FCU, Long Island City, N.Y.; George Whitfield of Generations FCU, San Antonio; and Dale R. Whittaker of Vantage West CU, Tucson, Ariz. The award recognizes directors who have shown dedication to self-development, encouraged full board development and provided ideas for advancement of all credit union boards.

Hiway Federal Credit Union, St. Paul, Minn., welcomed Sue Mulvihill to its board of directors and Daniel Kahnke to its supervisory committee. Mulvihill, along with eight other board members, will be responsible for setting policy and governing affairs for the credit union. Kahnke will work with four supervisory committee members to ensure that the credit union meets required financial reporting objectives and that members' funds and interests are protected.

Royal Credit Union, Eau Claire, Wis., named Matt Gerber as the sales manager of its home loans department. Gerber will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of home loan representatives in carrying out duties to provide advice and assistance in mortgage lending. He comes with 15 years of financial experience. Most recently, he managed the northwestern Wisconsin mortgage division for Wells Fargo.

SOUTH

Atlanta Postal Credit Union, Atlanta, announced Gina Connally as branch manager of the credit union's South DeKalb Mall branch. Atlanta Postal Credit Union has also promoted Portia Bryant to the position of branch manager of its Decatur branch, and Matt McHale to the position of manager of IS systems design and development. Consuelo Hill has been appointed assistant branch manager of the South DeKalb Mall branch.

Coastal Federal Credit Union, Raleigh, N.C., announced that Kristopher Kovacs has been promoted to senior vice president of operations, effective Jan. 1, 2011. In his new role, Kovacs will provide executive management to the credit union's collections, information technology and support services departments. He will also offer leadership toward the creation of a new product and channel development department.

Insight Credit Union, Orlando, Fla., announced that Lauren Joseph has been promoted to the position of vice president of operations. Joseph has over 25 years of credit union experience. She joined Insight Credit Union three years ago as branch manager and was quickly promoted to director of branch operations. In her new position, Joseph will oversee all branch operations and the member support center.

Member One Federal Credit Union, Roanoke, Va., announced five promotions: April Johnson has been promoted to vice president of its Westlake branch. Mary Harris is the credit union's new lending analyst. Shana Meadows is the new vice president of card services. Stedman Payne is the vice president of the main office branch in downtown Roanoke. And Steve Crowder is now the vice president of corporate projects.
