Credit union employees and others interested in learning about troubled debt restructuring and the accounting challenges they pose can participate in the NCUA's webinar on the topic this Thursday.
The webinar, which will be hosted by NCUA Board Member Gigi Hyland, will deal with topics such as how to define "financial difficulty" and measuring the impairment on a troubled debt restructuring.
Three accountants from the public accounting firm of Crowe Horvath will conduct the webinar, which is free.
