Ross, Top Michigan Regulator, Succeeds Little on NASCUS Board

The National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors is keeping a Michigan regulator on its board.

The National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors is keeping a Michigan regulator on its board.

Just a week after it was announced that Roger Little, Michigan's deputy commissioner of financial and insurance regulation, is retiring on Jan. 1, NASCUS said Ken Ross, his boss and the state's commissioner, would join the board filling Little's seat.

Ross has served as state commissioner since February 2008. Before taking that job, Ross was deputy commissioner for policy and chief of staff in the agency. Previously, Ross was vice president of regulatory and legal affairs for the Michigan Credit Union League.

Little, a past chairman of NASCUS, is one of the veteran examiners in the country having started with the state in 1984.
