Mason Hodge, age 7, and Kahlil West, 15, members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio, were recognized as the winners of this year's holiday card contest sponsored by Security Service Federal Credit Union.
The winning designs were selected from nearly 200 entries created by Boys & Girls Club members and will be used as the official SSFCU holiday cards.
Both boys were presented with a framed piece of their artwork along with a bag of prizes from SSFCU that included a $50 gift card to Walmart, a portable DVD player and DVDs. In addition, BGCSA received a $1,000 check from Security Service.

West, a 10th grader, has now won the competition two years in a row. Last year, his drawing was of the inside of a house during the holidays. This year, he continued the theme by designing a card that featured the outside of a home, colorfully decorated from top to bottom.
Hodge, a second grader, drew inspiration for his card from a picture. He said his favorite subject is math and he wants to be a police officer when he grows up.
Security Service FCU, headquartered in San Antonio, has $5.9 billion in assets.
