Jack Henry & Associates has added online account openingfrom MeridianLink to the product lineup at its ProfitStarsdivision.

The company said its Opening Act Express solution usesMeridianLink's platform to provide basic and advanced onlineaccount opening services that can be integrated with any core andonline banking platform and support institution-

defined products.

Funding options include ACH, debit and credit cards and theprocess includes identity verification, credit, OFAC and checkhistory checks.

"Opening Act Express offers the flexibility to initiate accountopening with the bare essentials and expand to more advancedservices-proven scalability that is very important as consumerdemand for online services continues to escalate," said David Foss,president of Jack Henry's ProfitStars division.

MeridianLink said its multi-channel lending and account openingsolutions are now in use by more than 400 credit unions and otherfinancial institutions. More than 26,000 end users now use itsenterprise business solutions that include Web-based creditreporting, the Costa Mesa, Calif., company said.

Monett, Mo.-based Jack Henry now serves more than 11,000 creditunions, banks and other financial services customers, the companysaid.
