John Pantaleon saw the writing on the wall at credit union after credit union he visited.
The founder of Worldwide Interactive Solutions LLC had built a client base of more than 300 customers of his company's online and mobile banking, bill pay and audio response technology in the past 10 years, but as systems became more integrated, he saw core processors increasingly pursuing that part of the market themselves.
So, the Orlando, Fla., company bought a core processing operation-125-client CUMAS out of Texas-and spent the past two years enhancing the core code and integrating it with multiple third-party document, ATM, lending and other solutions, Pantaleon said.
