Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., announced that Lisa Morris has been named director of marketing, reporting to Tyrone Muse, the acting vice president of marketing. In her new role, Morris will be responsible for managing the marketing and public relations efforts for the credit union so that members are well informed of the products and services available to them. She has over 14 years of financial services marketing experience and most recently served as senior director of marketing and business development for The Chazen Companies in Poughkeepsie.
St. Mary's Bank, Manchester, N.H., announced the appointment of Daniel Bourquard to the position of information technology director. In his new role, Bourquard will design, implement and direct all of the credit union's information technology efforts. Bourquard has 30 years of experience that extends from hardware and software development to IT infrastructure and project management. Most recently, Bourquard was president and owner of an IT startup company that offered computer and network services to local small business communities.

UMassFive College Federal Credit Union, Hadley, Mass., appointed Sean Capaloff-Jones as its new manager of member outreach. He will be responsible for member development and maintaining positive relationships with the credit union's sponsor groups, who make up UMassFive's field of membership. Sean will also guide the credit union's financial literacy program and community outreach initiatives.

Clackamas Federal Credit Union, Milwaukie, Ore., recently named Janet Josselyn vice president of risk management and Andrew Vahrenkamp chief financial officer. Josselyn brings over 13 years of experience in the credit union industry, most recently as director of compliance services for the Credit Union Association of Oregon. As vice president, she will be responsible for enterprise risk management, including operations and lending compliance, risk assessment, auditing, back-office operations and vendor management. Vahrenkamp comes to CFCU with eight years of experience at Raddon Financial Group assisting banks and credit unions on pricing, product development and strategic planning. He will direct the information technology and marketing departments and oversee all financial-related activities of the credit union, including the development of short- and long-term strategic financial objectives.
MIDWEST
CME Federal Credit Union, Columbus, Ohio, promoted Jacquie Ayres to the position of vice president of marketing, and Ryan Giffin joined the organization as vice president of lending. Ayres, of Hilliard, will be responsible for overseeing all marketing materials, coordinating public relations, advertising, internal and external communications and promoting CME throughout Franklin County. As vice president of lending, Giffin, of Dublin, will direct the efforts of CME FCU's lending portfolio, monitor lending trends and market conditions, manage the existing business loan portfolio, maintain the ongoing client relationships and evaluate new lending opportunities.
Consumers Credit Union, Kalamazoo, Mich., announced Patrick O'Connor as a new member of its board of directors. O'Connor, the credit union's former chief financial officer, retired in 2008 after 14 years of service to the credit union. O'Connor was promoted to the position of chief financial officer for Consumers in 1998, where he managed all accounting functions, including financial statement preparation, accounts receivable and payable, government reporting, NCUA call reports and credit union investments.
Guardian Credit Union, West Milwaukee, Wis., announced that Kelly Stengert has accepted the position of corporate attorney. Stengert will support the assistant vice president of internal audit and compliance in handling legal work in the collections department and in identifying and containing compliance risk. Her responsibilities include various legal duties within the collections department, researching and interpreting financial laws and regulations, and identifying and reporting all regulatory compliance breaches or gaps.
Members Cooperative Credit Union, Duluth, Minn., named Katelyn Konietzko, a nursing student at the College of St. Scholastica, to the board of directors of its Community Youth Foundation. Katelyn was a recipient of one of the foundation's Creative Expressions scholarships last spring. Konietzo's winning essay, "Food for Thought," shared her experiences volunteering at the Damiano Center in Duluth. She decided to join the MCCU CYF board because she believes strongly in giving her time to organizations that help better the community.
Michigan State University Federal Credit Union, East Lansing, Mich., recently appointed five new branch managers. Sally Boyer will manage the Downtown Lansing branch, Kelly Bradley the Crescent branch, Emily Jannereth the East Lansing branch, DeAnne Ramos the Meridian branch and Andrea Walton the South Lansing branch.

River City Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, announced that Andrew Barriger was recently named senior vice president of operations. His primary focus will be to direct and coordinate all operations activities within the credit union, including lending and branch operations. Prior to his move to Texas, Barriger gained over 20 years of credit union experience including vice president of operations at BrightStar Credit Union and vice president of lending/operations at Lake Huron Credit Union.
