More than 90 financial institutions were represented by the 200 attendees who attended Akcelerant's recent 2010 Customer Conference at the Penn State Great Valley Conference Center near its headquarters in Malvern, Pa., the company said.

The two-day conference opened with a talk on the company's past, present and future by President/CEO Jay Mossman and the presentation of its pioneer award to the $2.4 billion Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union of Palo Alto, Calif., for its early adoption of Akcelerant's "next generation" loan origination system earlier this year.

The Sept. 22-23 conference also included break-out session and interactive computer labs on Akcelerant's collections and lending solutions. "We understand that in today's economy it is difficult to justify any expense. Therefore, our goal was to offer a strong event ROI through intense product training, significant networking, and hands-on education," said Eric Snyder, executive vice president, business development.
