Equipping financial institutions to fight cybercrime will be thefocus of a conference set for Nov. 4-5 at the Sheraton PortsmouthHarborside Hotel & Conference Center in Portsmouth, N.H.

The Cybercrime 2010 Symposium is being sponsored by Sage DataSecurity Inc. of South Portland, Maine, and nophishing.org, theaction arm of the Maine Anti-Phishing Coalition, formed by 24 Mainebanks in 2006 to fight phishing and other fraud through publicawareness and education.

Speakers and presenters include Brian Krebs, editor of thekrebsonsecurity.com blog, and Joseph Menn, author of “Fatal SystemError.” Krebs will present current data and case studies onfinancial cybercrimes while Menn will discuss crime leadersattacking the Internet.
