An e-statement enrollment contest held by a Michigan-based core processing CUSO resulted in more than 9,000 new users at 60 participating credit unions.

CU*Answers in Grand Rapids said a total of 9,079 e-statement enrollments were recorded during the August-September contest, a 48% increase from the previous two months.

Marissa Pittsley, a member of the $74 million Isabella Community Credit Union in Mount Pleasant, Mich., was the winner of the contest's grand prize, a Nintendo Wii game system, and her credit union said its online enrollment pace nearly double during the two months of the contest.
