CUNA Monday set Nov. 13 in Chicago as the date for its high level and one-day Corporate Credit Union Issue Summit conference to plot strategy and new policy relating to the future of the corporate structure.

The session, designed for an exclusive group of 80 top industry leaders representing CUs, the corporate and vendors. will emphasis that CUs in the final run-up will lead the effort toward "determining the shape of tomorrow's corporate credit unions and services," said a CUNA statement.

move toward a consensus on a services delivery system that credit unions will support; and, to consider what is required of the movement to make such a system work."

CUNA said the meeting will be closed to the media and also it has hired "an outside facilitator" who was not named to "to make the most of the time available" for the session which concludes at 3 p.m.

Invitees for the conference, said CUNA, are CEOs in various industry roles including as members of CUNA's own Corporate Next Steps Task Force. In addition, are "those who have demonstrated initiative in dealing with corporate issues plus others with expertise in services delivery matters; chairmen/women of corporate CUs, CUNA Exececutive Committee members" and other trade group elected leaders including NAFCU.

Corporate representatives were invited based on their particular interest in the process, as well as expertise in services delivery, CUNA concluded.
