Taleris Credit Union is mourning the death of Director Emeritus Joseph W. Coleman.
Initially a member of the lending services committee, Coleman served the Cleveland-based credit union in a variety of volunteer positions since 1965. He was elected to the board of directors in 1973 and was later elected board chairman, a position he held until 2006.
Active also in the community, Coleman, who enjoyed a 42 year career at the Ohio Bell Telephone Company, was also a longtime member of the Parma Community General Hospital Board of Trustees and presided as chairman of that board for 14 years.?
