Fifty-six attendees from 35 credit unions gathered recently at Share One's 2010 client conference in Memphis, Tenn.
The conference focused on the core processor's flagship NewSolutions core processing system and included sessions with Share One programmers and others for clients to share their best practices, including CEOs Cathy Sloan of $28 million United Catholics CU in West Covina, Calif., and Linda White of $40 million United Health CU in Burlingame, Calif., discussing their in-house credit card programs.
Steve Sercu, information technology manager at $419 million University CU in Los Angeles and Jerry Williams, senior vice president/chief financial officer at $1.2 billion Eglin FCU in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., hosted the users group portion of the Sept. 26-29 gathering and led discussions on topics such as regulations, mobile banking and managing a virtual environment.
Next year's conference will be Oct. 16-19 and will be planned based on feedback from this year's conference and client input, said Daryl Tanner, president/CEO of Share One, a Memphis-based CUSO which provides core processing and other services to about 65 credit unions.
