GrooveCar Inc., Hauppauge, N.Y., named Domenick Pupo director of business development. Pupo holds more than 20 years experience in the retail automotive and financial sales industries and has served as a national automotive consultant in the past. Pupo has held a variety of positions across the country, including managerial positions in New York, New Jersey and Florida.
NH Federal Credit Union, Concord and Durham, N.H., has re-established a full-service mortgage department. The credit union's new mortgage department is made up of professionals that have worked in the mortgage industry for more than 30 years combined.

Wendy Clark, mortgage manager, joined NH Federal Credit Union in June 2009 as the CU's mortgage consultant. Wendy came to NHFCU with more than 20 years of experience working in the mortgage industry. Kathy Moynihan, mortgage consultant, has more than ten years of experience in mortgage origination. She joined NHFCU in April 2010. Jennifer Dearborn, mortgage processor, has been with NHFCU for more than four years in the member services area. NH FCU also announced several recent promotions and new hires. John Bellerose, chief technology officer, has worked at NHFCU for more than seven years and had served as NHFCU's technology administrator for the last three. In July, John was appointed NHFCU's chief technology officer. Lisa Reach has been hired as NH Federal Credit Union's second member services representative in its Durham branch. Steve Lux joined NHFCU as marketing assistant on Aug. 2.
SOUTH
Community First Credit Union, Jacksonville, Fla., announced that Sharon Seagroves has been promoted to branch manager for the Lem Turner branch. Seagroves began her career with Community First Credit Union in 1993 as a teller at the Northside branch. She has held various positions within the credit union over the last 17 years, including senior teller, member service representative and working in the central lending department. For the last eight years, she has been assistant branch manager, most recently at the Beaches branch.
Community First Credit Union, Jacksonville, Fla. , announced that Gina Eubanks has been named a member of the credit union's audit committee. Eubanks was most recently a director at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where she has served for 15 years in Florida, India, New Jersey, and Tennessee. Previously, she was an internal auditor and staff accountant at Service Merchandise Company. Eubanks will serve a three-year appointment to the audit committee. Eubanks is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and currently serves as president of the Northeast Florida chapter. She holds a BBA from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Mutual Savings Credit Union, Birmingham, Ala., announced the promotion of Kendall Speed. Speed, who most recently served as senior vice president, will assume the role of executive vice president and retain his duties as chief financial officer at the organization.
Volunteer Corporate Credit Union, Nashville, Tenn., announced that Jeff Merry has been promoted to the position of senior vice president and chief financial officer. Merry will oversee the credit union's investments, accounting, credit, compliance and asset-liability management services. He most recently served as vice president and chief financial officer at VolCorp and has also held the position of chief investment officer. Merry holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Belmont University.
Achieva Credit Union, Clearwater, Fla., has appointed Kenneth Rase vice president of wealth management at Achieva Financial Planning and Trust Services. A financial advisor for nearly 10 years in the credit union industry, Rase holds a Series 7 and 66 license and also Health, Life and Variable insurance licenses.
Security Service Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, Texas, has promoted User Experience Architect Jay Tkachuk to online services manager. In his new position, he will oversee the daily operations of SSFCU's online channel, and will help to further the development of the credit union's online capabilities, including improving the overall online member experience. SSFCU has also promoted Asset Recovery Supervisor Snyder Poynter to manager of its asset recovery department. Poynter will be responsible for managing all aspects of asset recovery including overseeing delinquent accounts and repossessions, developing departmental strategies, policies and procedures, and overseeing compliance matters.
MIDWEST
First American Credit Union, Beloit, Wis., said that Nola Hathorn joined the credit union's executive management team. Hathorn has managed the mortgage lending department at the credit union for more than 16 years and has received extensive training from the Housing Finance Institute. Hathorne serves as a member on both the Rock Green Realtors Association and the South Central Wisconsin Builders Association in addition to participating in her credit union's community service programs.
Linn Area Credit Union, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, announce that Executive Vice President Jenny Lorenz was a recipient of the 2010 Governor's Volunteer Award for her involvement and leadership with the Iowa Credit Union Foundation Board of Directors. The Governor's Volunteer Awards program was created in 1982 to recognize volunteers for their commitment, service, and time. Lorenz has served as a volunteer board of director for ICUF for more than 10 years, and currently serves as the president.
Wright-Patt Credit Union, Fairborn, Ohio has a new Chief Operating Officer in Darrick J. Weeks, who has over 22 years of professional experience, including serving as vice president/division president for the Analytics Division of ValueCheck Inc. and chief administrative officer for Westerra Credit Union. His responsibilities include all departments involved in providing a superior member service experience from Member Center/Help Center Operations, Information Technology and Project Management, to Marketing, Business Development, and Facilities.

Bay Federal Credit Union, Capitola, Calif., announced the appointment of Sheila Joyce Kellerman to the credit union's board of directors. Kellerman is a certified public accountant with more than 20 years of experience in business finance, accounting, and taxation. She holds an MS in taxation and a BA in accounting from San Jose State University and is an active member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. After starting her career with KPMG Peat Marwick, she established her own business, S.J. Kellerman & Associates in 1988.
Kellerman will serve as an associate director until an opportunity to fill a vacancy on the board arises.
Travis Credit Union, Vacaville, Calif., announced that the 2010-11 volunteer board of directors and supervisory dommittee will include Curt Newland, chairman; Pat Moreno, vice chairman; Mary Coburn, secretary; Thomas Kulinski, treasurer; and directors Deborah Aspling, Charles Dawes, Stuart S. McIntosh, James E. Porter and Dee Alarcon. At the annual meeting new board members and committee incumbents were thanked for their services in a speech from President/CEO Patsy Van Ouwerkerk.
Redwood Credit Union, Santa Rosa, Calif., has named Dawn Leandro Cloverdale branch manager. With the credit union for some 10 years in her new role Leandro will oversee service to members, staff management and training, and all daily branch operations, as well as business development, community relations and local volunteer efforts.
