Fiserv Inc. said it launched today its ZashPay person-to-person payments service that allows users to send or receive money from anyone in the country by using only a recipient's name, e-mail address or phone number.
The transactions follow the same secured channels as an online banking transaction and the service can be accessed through participating financial institutions' websites or at ZashPay.com, the company said.
It uses existing accounts, delivers payment in as little as one business day and sends confirmation to e-mail addresses or phone numbers, the company said.
