TMG is now offering its 230 credit union customers the ability to provide their card-using members with mobile banking and transaction alerting solutions.

TMG is using partnerships with Visa Inc. and mobile specialist MShift Inc. to provide the solutions.

The mobile banking solution runs on any mobile or smart phone and can integrate with any online banking solution without interfering with the core processing platform, the company said.

The mobile transaction alert service offers Visa cardholders real-time mobile transaction notifications via e-mail or text, enabling them to take immediate action if they believe a fraudulent transaction may be taking place.

"TMG is placing more control in the hands of cardholders by giving them an earlier view of transactions that may be attempted on their card or account, than would otherwise be possible if they were limited to reviewing transactions only after posted to their statements," said Jeff Falk, director of product development at TMG in Des Moines, Iowa.

TMG is a subsidiary of the Affiliates Management Company, owned by Iowa credit unions. Its products include credit, debit, ATM and prepaid card solutions, as well as online reporting, ACH and ALM services.
