Card Services for Credit Unions has announced the winners of its eighth annual round of Cameo awards. The awards recognize and reward the member credit unions that developed the most innovative and resourceful marketing campaigns for their card products for the year.
Card Services for Credit Unions is an association of credit unions that process their card transactions on the FIS card platform.
"This year we saw some exceptional nominations touting the credit unions' successes in what can be considered one of our most challenging years," said Bill Lehman, vice president of portfolio consulting at CSCU. "Our CAMEO winners seized an opportunity to make their card programs more profitable, and we like to recognize our credit union members that work hard to grow their card portfolios."

The winners included the $2 billion Eastman Credit Union, headquartered in Kingsport, Tenn. The credit union used the theme of Stop, Drop and Roll to market their cards, urging members to stop paying high interest rates and fees on other cards, drop those cards and roll their balances onto an Eastman Visa card.
